Racing Calendar

We have a special racing calendar which covers race specific training and most of the major events on the calendar.

LifeCycle Club Racing - Nundah

Activ Cycle Coaching races under the club banner of LifeCycle.

Local Criterium Racing - Murarrie

Balmoral Cycling Club holds weekly racing on Saturdays at Murarrie.

Some weeks a group will ride over to Murarrie (via Wynnum) to race in various grades (typically B,C,D).

Murarrie Grades

  • B1 Grade - avg 40+km/h - 40min + 3 Laps - sign-on 6:25am - race 6:45am
  • B Grade - avg 40+km/h - 40min + 3 Laps - sign-on 7:15am - race 7:40am
  • C Grade - avg 38km/h - 40min + 3 Laps - sign-on 7:15am - race 7:40am
  • D Grade - avg 34km/h - 35min + 3 Laps - sign-on 8:00am - race 8:25am
We will aim to have everyone race in B1, B or C grade most weeks so that we can get back at a reasonable time.  If you are interested in racing and think D grade is your only option then let us know and we'll see what we can work out.
